About Boogie

BOOGIE PILGRIM is an incoming travel agency in Madagascar. We do all types of trips, all around Madagascar : FIT and group, budget, middle and luxury, on foot, by 4 wheel drive and even by private plane. Whether you are a trekker or a luxury fan, BOOGIE has trip for you! We are most keen on fauna and flora observation (Madagascar is home to 80% of endemic fauna and flora), ecotourism, trek & adventure tours, community based tourism and tours allowing a real encounter with the malagasy people, a real discovery of their way of living. Our guides speak French, English and German. We know well the tours we sell and our team is regularly on the field to update information and find new exciting adventure trips, charming hotels off the beaten tracks...

We began in tourism running a small ecolodge on the Canal des Pangalanes in 1987: THE BUSH HOUSE. In 1989 we created the incoming Tour Operator "BOOGIE PILGRIM" in Antananarivo.

 

BOOGIE PILGRIM owns 3 lodges :

- TSARA CAMP : an all comforts tented camp in the awesome mountain scenery of the Tsaranoro Valley (South)

- BUSH HOUSE an ecolodge on the Pangalanes Canal (East)

- MANANARA FOREST LODGE : open since may 2007 in Anjozorobe primary forest, 2hrs from capital Antananarivo.

We have created a Bush School in each of this places.

We also run TSARASOATRA Birdlife Sanctuary, a haven in busy capital of Antananarivo.
