Go surf the Madagascar waves ! If you want a perfect spot, nice, warm and wild, Madagascar is the place to go. You can actually surf without the crowd in the water. For beginners and intermediate, go surf to Mahambo, it's awesome ( For expert, Fort-Dauphin and the South West are great ).

Mahambo is a small village located on the east side of the island, and more precisely located 90Km north of the city of Tamatave. Within a few years, this unknown village became the first destination in Madagascar for surfing.

A surfing school, "Surf Camp", opened on the shores of the village, and offers various courses for surfers, to acquire the 5 basic guidelines of surfing ,as the use of wave energy for moving, pass the waves during the ascent to the peak, sliding down a wave, take a wave not broken, or follow the shoulder of the wave to shore.

Young people, including children, therefore, enjoy particularly surfing and often ask to go to "Surf Camp" of Mahambo. However, parents always have a natural protective tendency to forbid their children to swim in the sea. Don't worry dear parents, "Surf Camp" has an experienced and qualified team.
